Selenium is a set of open source APIs/tools used for functional automation testing. Selenium provides flexibility in designing robust test scripts compatible with various browsers like Firefox, Chrome, IE, Opera, Safari etc. and Operating Systems such as Windows, Linux, and Macintosh. It also supports all popular development languages such as Java, .Net(C#), PHP, Ruby, Perl, and Python, meaning there is no dependency on language when it comes to automation testing.


Selenium Automation Framework (SAF) increases automation efficiency by minimising initial coding effort.


Our Selenium WebDriver - Frameworks course is the second in a series of courses covering the basics of Selenium WebDriver automation

Course Pre-requisites:

Completion of Selenium WebDriver - Scripting module (and the homework exercises) is required before starting this module.


What you will learn from this course:

  1. Basics of Frameworks.

  2. Configuring and using TestNG for creating automation scripts.

  3. Setting up Data Driven Framework.

  4. Setting up Page Object Model Framework


Students must bring their own laptops and have administrator rights in order to install the required software. Windows laptops are preferred, however, iOS can be catered for. Contact us for more instructions if you use iOS.  


If a laptop is required, please contact us to organise a rental.
